Each year, the Tenth District recognizes a club/federation as the Tenth District Club of the Year at the District's Annual Convention in April. The purpose of the Club of the Year award is to recognize clubs/federations within the Tenth District who have excelled in these areas: • Enter Club Achievement (50 pts/book) • Give to AES (15-100 pts per member, depending on level) • Give to Foundation (1 pt for every $25, max 50 pts) • Attend Governor’s Retreat (50 pts per club) • Attend Conferences, Conventions (20 pts per member attending) • Host a District Conference or Convention (120 pts) • Host a hospitality suite or break at a District Conference or Convention (20 pts each) • ADDYs: Hold the ADDYs (100 pts), AutoForward Golds (20 pts), Forward Silvers (75 pts.) • Appoint an AES or Diversity Chair for your club (35 pts each) • Award a scholarship worth $500 or more (25 pts each) • Nominate a Mosaic Candidate (25 pts each) • Have a District Committee Chair or Co-Chair who is a member of your club (50 pts each) • Nominate someone from your club to run for Executive Committee (150 pts per candidate) • Have someone from your club currently serving on the Executive Committee (100 pts/EC member)
Currently, two District "Club of the Year" awards are given. The two awards are granted based on the competing club's size category: Large (100+ members) and Small (<100 members). Winners of the Tenth District - Club of the Year Award:
